The primary subject of this website is FUN. “Fun” is a word that is often used and bandied about, but what in actuality does it mean? Can we tell when fun is taking place? The answer is yes. We can always tell when fun is happening. We can hear the laughter and make not of the happy remarks and exclamations. We can acknowledge the impressive display of focused attention display of attention by observing the level of enthusiasm and involvement. It’s obvious the Scouts want to be doing what they’re doing.
ACTIVE FUN: Also referred to as Participation Fun, Active Fun is the fun Scouts have when they’re actively engaged in doing something they enjoy.
PASSIVE FUN: Also referred to as Spectator Passive Fun is the kind of fun Scouts have by using their senses to enjoy an entertaining spectacle.
As Scout leaders, both youth and adult, one of out main goals is to plane, prepare and present meetings and outings that are fun wit positive outcomes. We are challenged to ensure the grounds for either Active Participation Fun or entertaining Spectator types of Fun will take place as much as possible throughout all segments of Scout gatherings and events.
